Landing page design.
One page, one goal

You invest in advertising and send visitors to your homepage. There they see a menu with ten choices, a slider and a story about your company. They are looking for something specific and don’t find it quickly. So they click away.

A landing page solves that. One topic, one message, one clear next step. I build them fast, clear and mobile first, so your advertising budget doesn’t leak away.

The difference

Why a homepage doesn’t work as a destination.

A homepage has to do a lot. It is a shop window for everyone: new visitors, existing customers, job applicants, the press. As a result it offers many choices and a scattered message.

Someone who clicks an ad has one question in mind. A landing page answers that question directly. No distraction, no detour. That raises the chance that the visitor does what you want, and that is the whole point of paid traffic.

What a good page has

Four building blocks.

A headline that matches

Anyone who clicks an ad about “migrating a website” expects to see those words again. A headline that matches the search query or ad feels like the right answer straight away.

One clear action

A button, a form or a phone number. Not three things at once. The fewer choices, the greater the chance that someone makes one.

Trust

Real experiences, concrete guarantees, a clear price indication, visible who you are. People don’t leave their details with someone they don’t trust.

Speed

Every second of loading costs visitors. That is why I build without heavy packages, with small images and few third-party scripts.

Google Ads

What Google thinks of your landing page.

Google rates your ads with a Quality Score. It consists of the expected click-through rate, the relevance of the ad and the landing page experience. A poor page therefore lowers the score, and as a result you pay more per click or get fewer impressions.

In that experience, Google looks at relevance, loading speed and use on mobile. Those are exactly the things I work on. A fast, relevant page is therefore good not only for your visitors, but also for your advertising costs.

Please note: I don’t manage ad campaigns. I build the page they link to. If you have an agency or do it yourself, I am happy to work with you.

What you get

A page that is ready for traffic.

As standard, the landing page includes:

  • A headline and text that match your ad or target audience
  • A form or call button, tested on mobile
  • Fast loading time, measured with Google PageSpeed
  • A basis for measuring enquiries and visitors
  • Text in your tone, written together with you

Common mistakes

Why many landing pages deliver too little.

Trying to say too much. A page with five benefits, three target groups and four buttons convinces nobody. Choose the one message that counts and leave out the rest.

A form with too many fields is the second classic. Every extra field puts people off. Name, email and possibly phone number is often enough. You ask the rest in the conversation.

And then there is the page that works well on a computer but is a mess on the phone. While most ad clicks come from there. That is why I always test on mobile first.

Measuring

Knowing whether it works.

A landing page is never completely finished. Only after going live do you see how visitors behave. Do they drop off at the headline? Do they click the button but not fill in the form? Patterns like these show what to adjust.

I make sure you can measure enquiries and visitors, with attention to privacy. You measure only what you need and ask for consent where required. A few small adjustments based on real figures often deliver more than a completely new design.

Want to compare two variants, for example two headlines? That’s possible. It is wise to test one thing at a time, so you know what made the difference.

How it works

From idea to live page.

  1. Step 1

    Defining the goal

We discuss what visitors should do and who the page is for. Then I quote a fixed price.

  2. Step 2

    Writing the text

Together we formulate the message. Short, concrete, without empty words.

  3. Step 3

    Building

I build the page mobile first and test on real phones.

  4. Step 4

    Measuring and adjusting

After going live we look at what visitors do. If needed, I adjust the text or the order.

Why DYKZ

I think along about the message, not just the code.

A good page starts with a clear story. I help you formulate it, because I often see that the text determines whether a page works. The technology is the easy part afterwards.

And because I run a one-person studio, you talk to the person who builds the page. No handover, no lost information.

For whom

When you need one.

A landing page suits an action with a clear end point: a quote request, a registration, a call appointment, a download or an offer. If you have several services, a separate page per service often works better than one general page.

Don’t advertise? A landing page can still make sense, for example as a destination for a newsletter, an event or a social media campaign.

Questions and answers

Open and transparent.

Is your question not listed? Just ask.

What does a landing page cost?

That depends on the size and whether the text is already finished. After a short conversation I quote a fixed price. You pay no subscription.

Do you also manage my Google Ads campaign?

No. I build the page. Managing campaigns I leave to specialists or to you. I am happy to work with your agency.

How long does it take?

That depends on how quickly we get the text and goal sharp. Usually it takes days to a few weeks. In the first conversation I give a realistic timeline.

Can I have multiple pages made?

Absolutely. For multiple services or target groups, one page per topic often works better. I then reuse the setup, which lowers the cost per page.
